Envision Partnership was established in 2015 by Nicola Deverson and is built on a career in the accountancy profession of more than 25 years. From the outset her intention was to create a business that works closely with clients, becoming part of their team and not just someone they see when they want their accounts and tax returns completed. Providing support to clients and removing the fear of dealing with H M Revenue and Customs comes naturally to her.
Nicola began her career at Reeves and Neylan (now Kreston Reeves) in Canterbury and primarily worked with the farming community. After qualifying as a chartered accountant, family commitments brought her to West Kent where she has remained, working with high net worth individuals, business owners, landlords and trustees. Before setting up Envision Partnership, Nicola worked at accountancy practices in Sevenoaks and Hildenborough, building up a wealth of experience in supporting business owners.
Having raised three children whilst maintaining her career at partner level Nicola understands the challenges that business owners face in maintaining a balance between their work and family responsibilities. This is the cornerstone of her work with clients when inspiring, encouraging and supporting them to develop their businesses.
Her work also takes her to the heart of the family attending to their personal tax affairs and protecting the family’s wealth alongside their financial adviser. She strongly believes in the strength of collaboration and seeks to work alongside allied professionals whenever needed.
Nicola’s own experiences have made her a natural ambassador for female entrepreneurs and she is a regular speaker at networking events on finance and business development. Nicola has founded a networking group for women in business which regularly meets in Hever, Kent. Her true speciality lies in her reassuring, practical and down to earth approach. Clients find that her approach to accounting makes even the most seemingly complex business matters easier to understand, removing the fear of accountancy.
