As we begin to ease out of lockdown the government, in consultation with industry, has produced guidance to help ensure workplaces are as safe as possible.
The government has produced 8 guides covering a range of different types of work to help us understand our responsibilities.
These cover:
Construction and other outdoor work
Factories, plants and warehouses
Homes
Labs and research facilities
Offices and contact centres
Restaurants offering takeway or delivery
Shops and branches
Vehicles
If your industry is not included here it is not then you are probably not able to return to work in this first phase.
If you can’t create a safe working environment for your customers and employees you probably shouldn’t reopen.
